The title manifests itself as hidden object game, however, it looks more like an ordinary adventure issue, since many inventory puzzles are involved there. It is well-executed game with smooth gameplay even though it is not always clear where it leads to.
In that way, you have to follow all these lengthy dialogs to get some important instructions or clues. But who likes these boring small talks? As odd and artificial as the storyline are also most of the compulsory tasks, for example, the protagonist has to repair pipe or dish out a boiled egg to open another location.
So, the mini-games are various, not difficult and can be skipped anytime. Thanks to well-done artwork, hidden object puzzles do not seem so useless or weird. The interactive map is useful. The graphics are good and the cut scenes are excellent. The voice overs are acceptable. The music is annoying, but it can be muted. Towards the end, you have to decide whether to go with your mother or husband, which does make it a bit interesting.
The downside to this game is there doesn't seem to be a storyline. You run around the ship doing things, but there doesn't seem to be much of a point. There are also times where you can't figure out what to do next. The walkthrough is really helpful. There are times when the game drags. There is a bonus section, not really a chapter, that provides some interesting information regarding things that went wrong. There is nothing new, but it is interesting. If the annoyances don't bother you, I would recommend this game.
